Hey, everyone! Juan here from JUANminiDIY, and today, I’m thrilled to share one of our standout builds—a custom arcade stick that’s as comfortable as it is powerful. Meet the JMD Signature WASD Custom Fightstick in stained Pinewood.
Signature Design with a Premium Finish
For this build, we went with our JMD Signature Case made from Pinewood, but with a twist—it’s stained in a darker brown than our standard finish. This gives the stick a rich, premium look that stands out while still being subtle and sleek. The darker stain really brings out the natural grain of the wood, adding a layer of sophistication to your gaming setup.
Slope Cut Palmrest for Extra Comfort
Comfort is key when it comes to long gaming sessions, which is why I designed this fightstick with a slope cut palmrest. This little detail ensures that your hands stay comfortable, even during extended play. It’s a small but significant feature that makes a big difference in how the stick feels under your hands.
Flushed WASD Keys for Precision
One of the key features of this build is the standard mixbox layout with WASD keys that are flushed on the case. When you typically buy a mixbox conversion kit, you get an additional 4mm height on the WASD keys, but I wanted to take this to the next level. By making these keys flush with the case, I’ve ensured a smoother, more ergonomic experience that sets this stick apart from ordinary consumer models—no more awkward raised keys.
JMD Oki Buttons: Soft, Silent, and Affordable
This fightstick is equipped with 8 JMD Oki buttons, 30mm in size. They’re soft and silent, offering a feel similar to Gamerfinger buttons but at a more affordable price. These buttons are becoming a favorite among our clients, with many even preferring them over the traditional options like Sanwa.

Essential Side Buttons and Connectivity
On the side, you’ll find the standard auxiliary buttons: touchpad, PS, select, start, along with a LED power indicator and USB Type-C port. Everything is laid out for easy access, ensuring that your stick is as functional as it is stylish.
Customizable Bottom Cover
This stick comes with our standard wood bottom cover, but you can upgrade to an acrylic cover with screws or go for the magnetic bottom cover option for even easier access. It’s all about giving you the flexibility to customize your stick to your liking.
JMD Pico Fighting Board MINI
Inside, I’ve installed the JMD Pico fighting board MINI with a PS5 kit converter. This setup is compatible with PC, PS4, and PS5, so you’re ready to play on whichever platform you prefer. The MINI board offers excellent performance in a compact package, perfect for a build like this.
Personalized Art
