Meet Jed James (IGN: bobps3)
Jed James is a 21-year-old fourth-year Electrical Engineering student. He started his gaming journey around ten years ago when he got his PlayStation 3. Since then, his passion for gaming has only grown.
Jed has been playing Street Fighter 6 since its release and has quickly made a name for himself in the competitive scene.

Featured Player Interview with Jed James

We had the opportunity to sit down with Jed James, also known as bobps3, to ask him a few questions about his journey in gaming, his approach to balancing school and hobbies, and his advice for aspiring gamers.
JMD: What’s your motivation for all your achievements?
Jed James: My motivation is to continually reach higher levels of competition. I thrive on the challenge and the opportunity to improve my skills with each tournament.
JMD: How do you balance school and gaming?
Jed James: I prioritize my school tasks and aim to accomplish them as soon as possible. This allows me to focus more on my hobbies, especially gaming, without compromising my studies.
JMD: What’s your ultimate goal in gaming and in life as a whole?
Jed James: In gaming, my ultimate goal is to make meaningful connections within the community. In life, I aim to have fun and enjoy every moment, ensuring a well-rounded and fulfilling experience.
JMD: Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
Jed James: I see myself having a stable job that allows for a balanced lifestyle, where I can continue to pursue my passions in both my career and gaming.
JMD: How supportive are your parents and family in what you do?
Jed James: My family has been incredibly supportive from the start. They’ve always helped me get to tournaments I wanted to join, which has been a huge encouragement in pursuing my gaming career.
JMD: What’s your advice to other gamers who aspire to be pro like you?
Jed James: My advice is not to burn yourself out. It’s important to have fun playing the game and to enjoy the journey as much as the competition.
